Keynote Speaker: Barbara K. Mistick

What are you doing today to avoid becoming obsolete tomorrow? Come learn how to prepare yourself for tomorrow’s workplace and stay relevant in your working lives. Barbara Mistick will discuss the research and findings on how to Future-Proof Your Career, followed by a book signing. The first 150 registered and paid attendees will receive a complimentary copy of her book Stretch: How to Future-Proof Yourself for Tomorrow’s Workplace.
Barbara K. Mistick became Wilson College’s 19th President in 2011. She is the architect of the Wilson Today plan, which made history pioneering the nation’s first loan buy-back program and brought the designation of “tuition hero” to the college. Over the course of her 30-year career, Dr. Mistick has been an entrepreneur, educator and leader at institutions such as the H.J. Heinz School of Public Policy and Management at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh and The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, and at various businesses she managed and/or founded. Her new book, Stretch: How to Future-Proof Yourself for Tomorrow’s Workplace, was designated as an Amazon Editor’s Pick and ranked #12 on the 800-CEO-READ’s Best Seller list.
